PORTA AVIÕES NAE A12 SÃO PAULO Bysanders 3D Models™

The NAe São Paulo (A-12) is a Clemenceau-class aircraft carrier that has been in the service of the Brazilian Navy, but is currently in the process of decommissioning and dismantling. The Sao Paulo was originally commissioned in 1963 by the French Navy, transferred in 2000 to Brazil, where it became the naval flagship of the Brazilian Navy. Under French identity Foch R-99, the 32,800-ton, 265-meter, 1,920-crewed giant has been deployed on fronts in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe in support of coalition troops in the Balkan conflicts.
In December 2014, it was announced that São Paulo would continue in service until 2039, by which time the ship would be almost 80 years old. During his career in Brazil, however, the aircraft carrier suffered problems and was never able to operate for more than three months without repairs and due maintenance. On February 14, 2017, the Brazilian Navy announced that the ship would be demobilized and subsequently dismantled, due to the high costs for an upgrade of equipment already considered obsolete.
